Miracle Milly (born December 2011) is the world’s smallest dog by height, according to the Guinness Book of World Records.
She was born in December 2011, and weighs approximately 1 pound (half a kilogram). On 21 February 2013 her height was measured, placing her at 9.65 cm (3.8 in). The previous smallest dog was Boo Boo, at 4 inches (10.16 centimeters) tall.Miracle Milly is owned by Vanesa Semler from Dorado, Puerto Rico. When Milly was born, She weighed less than an ounce and fit in a teaspoon. Her mouth was too tiny to nurse from her mother, so Vanesa Semler gave her milk every two hours through an eyedropper. Ms Semler says caring for Milly takes effort, but explains that she and her husband, Edwin Davila, have no children so they have the time to focus their energies on their pet project.
According to dailymail, Delighted owner Vanessa Semler said ‘We have to be really careful with Milly because she is too small so she can be easily lost.
‘When people see Milly they are really surprised because she is so small but they really love her because she ís so adorable.’
